5 Week Attendance Challenge!

Over the next 5 weeks we will be running our latest attendance challenge but with a twist!

We have put our year groups into teams to work together to raise the awareness of the importance of good attendance. Each team has selected a prize to work towards including special activites, treats at breaktime, dining with the principal and much more. 

To launch it we had an assembly this week which was engaging and interactive this gave the students chance to discuss attendance scenarios and discuss support in school, teams will lead the initiative prizes for the coming term challenge!

Throughout our assembly Miss Kemp had scenarios in which students answered would they attend school or not, the students also had debates in their teams surrounding these scenarios.

Earth, Air, Fire and Water then picked a reward for if they win this terms incentive!

Attendance Initiatives

Oulton Academy has many attendance initiatives during the year. Please ask your child about these as we travel through the academic year!

Throughout this half term there are various initiatives taking place to encourage all students to attend school these will be announced throughout the term.

Please note: Students with medical or exceptional circumstances are still apart of all challenges at Oulton Academy.

Attendance is at the forefront of what we are at Oulton Academy. We do encourage your child to attend school every day, be on time and ready to learn and be proactive.

The teams are call Earth, Air, Fire and Water and will be grouped in the following form groups:

Earth = .1 & .8

Air = .4 & .6

Fire = .3 & .5

Water = .2 & .7
