A Fantastic Start to the New Academic Year at Oulton Academy

Oulton Academy has enjoyed a wonderful start to the new academic year, welcoming students back through our doors with enthusiasm, positivity and a determination to succeed.

We were delighted to welcome 270 new Year 7 students to the Oulton Academy family. Arriving impeccably dressed in their academy uniforms, students entered the building with huge smiles on their faces and an eagerness to begin the next stage of their educational journey. The excitement and confidence shown by our newest students was a pleasure to see, and they have already made an excellent first impression on staff and older students alike.

Our new Year 7 cohort have settled quickly into academy life, embracing new routines, meeting new friends and engaging positively with their lessons. We look forward to supporting them as they grow, develop and thrive over the coming years.

It was also fantastic to welcome back our Year 11 students, who have returned focused and ready to make the most of this important academic year. Following a positive start, students have already begun engaging in meaningful and purposeful learning, demonstrating the commitment and maturity that will support them in achieving their goals.

This new academic year begins on the back of another period of strong examination success for Oulton Academy. Following another year of excellent outcomes and achievements, we remain committed to providing the highest quality education and ensuring every student is able to fulfil their potential.

The atmosphere around the academy has been overwhelmingly positive, with students across all year groups returning with a strong sense of purpose and ambition. We would like to thank parents and carers for their continued support in helping students make such a successful start to the term.
