Meet the British National Champion - Will Burleigh

Will recently competed at the British National Championships this weekend which was held at the renowned English Institute of Sport, Sheffield.

The two day event saw in excess of 1000 athletes aged between 5-55 competing for the title of British National Champion 2023 hosted by the governing body British Taekwondo.

We are pleased to announce that Will has returned with the title British National Champion the category of Cadet Advanced - 61.

This is yet another amazing achievement for Will, one that he has chased since he began competing.

This year Will has been undefeated in the uk, and has proved himself on the European and International stage. He is currently ranked in place one within the UK and 10th within Europe.

The hard work doesn’t stop now as Will headed straight back to training on Monday  in preparation for the Cadet European Championship 2023 being held in Belgrade, Serbia in less than two weeks where he will be representing Great Britain for the second time this year at a major competition.
