
Royal Navy Inspires Culinary Creativity in Ready Steady Cook Challenge
The Royal Navy's visit to our school was marked by an exciting and engaging Ready Steady Cook style challenge, bringing together students from Year 9 and Year 10. The event was designed to test the students' culinary skills, teamwork, and presentation abilities.
Working in groups, the students were tasked with creating dishes that would be assessed on both the quality of the food and the final presentation. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and creativity as the students collaborated to showcase their best culinary efforts.
The highlight of the event was the announcement of the group prize, awarded for the best teamwork and overall quality of the dishes presented. The winning team, consisting of Iris T, Millie F, Lexie B, and Jessie T, impressed the judges with their exceptional coordination and delicious creations.
In addition to the group prize, a special award was given to Maisie Hfor her outstanding commitment and focus throughout the session. Maisie's leadership qualities and dedication were evident, making her a standout participant in the challenge.
