Year 7 and Year 8 Students Embark on First ‘Oulton Explorers’ Adventure

Our Year 7 and Year 8 students recently took part in the inaugural session of the Oulton Explorers Group, an exciting new initiative designed to develop outdoor skills, teamwork, and resilience.

The first stage of this three-part programme challenged students to put their navigation skills to the test in our local area. Equipped with maps and compasses, the young adventurers tackled a demanding walk that combined physical endurance with problem-solving and collaboration.

Despite the wet conditions, spirits remained high as the group explored the beautiful scenery of Oulton and Methley, appreciating the natural environment right on our doorstep. Their determination and teamwork shone through, making the experience both rewarding and memorable.
