Innovation, teamwork, and big ideas were on full display this week as staff from DHL returned to Oulton Academy to deliver their second high-energy, careers-focused workshop for our Year 9 students!

Exploring the World of Business

The session, organised in partnership with The Talent Foundry, challenged students to dive deep into the mechanics of a global enterprise. Our students tackled real-world practical scenarios, sparking lively debates on the core values that drive successful businesses. From understanding the fast-paced world of customer service to the critical importance of cyber-security in the digital age, our Year 9s proved they are ready for the challenges of the modern workforce.

The energy reached a fever pitch during the final activity! Putting their presentation skills to the test, groups worked against the clock to develop a unique business idea. The class was buzzing as each team stood up to pitch their concepts to the entire class, demonstrating incredible confidence and "Dragon's Den" style flair.
