A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who attended our Year 9 Options Evening tonight. We were delighted to welcome over 300 visitors, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to support your children as they begin this important stage of the options process.

It was fantastic to see such an impressive turnout. We hope you found the presentations, subject information, and conversations with staff both useful and reassuring as students start considering their next steps for Key Stage 4.

Making the Right Choices

Choosing GCSE options is a crucial milestone for our Year 9 students. The decisions they make now will shape the subjects they study over the next two years and can influence future pathways, whether that’s further education, apprenticeships, or career choices. We encourage all students to carefully consider their strengths, interests, and ambitions. Discussions at home, advice from teachers, and guidance from our careers team can all support students in making confident and informed choices.

If you would like personalised careers guidance, you can contact our Careers Advisor, Mrs Booth, at:

Your continued support makes a genuine difference, and we look forward to working closely with you and our Year 9 students throughout the options process.
